The digital media industry continues to experience significant growth, both in Australia and internationally. In response to this growth, a unique Bachelor of Digital Media program has been developed as a joint initiative between the University of Wollongong and the Illawarra Institute of TAFE.
The program provides a rich learning environment combining creative, technical and conceptual skills relevant to all aspects of digital media production, particularly the areas of digital animation, video production, film studies and media arts.
This innovative program aims to develop skilled and industry ready graduates for the digital media industry and is taught at the new Digital Media Centre. The Digital Media Centre is a high-end teaching facility comprised of an animation studio, film and video studio, computer labs, edit suites, workshops and exhibition space.
